Sokullupınar – Sakar Taş – Eznevit Yayla – Sarımehmetler

The character of the route:

The route, which starts from the Sokullupınar Campground, which gives eye-catching photographs with its unique geography, follows the path going south and climbs up to Sakartaş at the 3rd km. When you pass the spring at 2500m and reach Eznevit Plateau, take the Emli Strait to the east, and the Emli Strait to the right goes right down. On descending to a land surrounded by peaks, you will encounter a magnificent view at Kocadölek Campground. Passing through the Emli Strait, which curves between the mountains, the route reaches the Sarımemet Campsite with a comfortable descent.

Notes to Travelers:

• You can camp in Sarımemets and Sokullupınar, and you can contact professional companies that organize tours in Aladağlar to benefit from fixed camps.
• There are routes for pleasant rock climbers that you can easily reach from Sarımemet and Sokullupınar. However, to do mountain climbing, you must have the right climbing equipment and have been trained. You can get help from institutions interested in mountain tourism.
• To be able to climb mountains, you must be in good health and condition.
• Especially if you live at sea level, you must acclimate your body (accommodating the body to that altitude for climbing after a certain height). For this, you can camp at the point where the route starts for one night before beginning the climb.
• Do not forget to take enough water and light food to give energy while climbing.
• Make sure your phone is fully charged before you start climbing.
• Do not forget to drink water occasionally during the climb.
