Sobesos– Kavakköy
Characteristics of the Route:
These lands, home to different cultures in Nevsehir, bear the traces of an adventure of faith. The route starts in the ancient city of Sobesos, which offers memories from the pagan period of Rome, and follows the traces of the old Roman road. The route follows quiet paths, goes through the fields in the countryside, and ends in Kavakkoy, a typical Anatolian villager.

Notes to Travelers:
The entrance to the Ancient Roman City of Sobesos is free of charge.
If you are hiking in early spring, you can see the fruits of Allium nevsehirense (Nevsehir yabani sarimsagi), one of the endemic plants of Cappadocia, and Rhamnus catharticus (cehri) with yellow, orange, and green colours.
Make sure your water bottle is full and keep a spare bottle ready as you won't find water on the route.
