Göreme – Zemi Valley – Gemil – İbrahimpaşa
Characteristics of the Route
The route starts in Goreme, which is on UNESCO World Heritage List with its historical and natural wonders, turns into a narrow path, and leads to the lush Zemi Valley. After leaving the valley, which attracts nature lovers with its green narrow paths, the route ascends to Gemil Hill and reaches the fields of Ibrahimpasa residents by following wide dirt roads. Bearing the traces of its former splendour, the nostalgic Babayan village (the old name of Ibrahimpasa) is also known for its elegant historical bridge, which was built by the Nevsehirli Osman Usta and the people of the village in 1938-39 collaboratively and restored in 2001.
