Characteristics of the Route:
The route, witnessing the adventure of faith throughout history from a bird's eye view, descends to Cavusin with a slight descent.Following the nostalgic streets of the town, it leads to St. John the Baptist Chapel next to the Seljuk Mosque.Enjoying the famous panorama stretching on the plateau above the church, the route ascends to Bozdag through the red fairy chimneys.It ends at the famous sunset point of Cappadocia, through the top of the table-shaped mountain with a magnificent view of the valley.

Notes to Travelers:
There is no entry fee to the churches on the route.
Make sure your water bottle is full as you won't find water on the route.
You can see Iris galatica (kaba navruz), one of the endemic flowers of Cappadocia, in March, Iris caucasica (Turk Navruzu) in April, and Thymus cappadocicus throughout the spring.
You can also see Hedysarum cappadocicum (tatlitirfil) frequently on high and rocky terrain, Euphorbia anacampseros subsp. Anacamseros (sutluagu), Lamium orientale (guzelce), Macrotomia densiflora (koca egnik), Salvia blepharochlaena (hos salba) flowers.

You can visit the Seljuk Mosque in Cavusin Town, the charming "historical house" on the cobblestone road that goes up by the mosque, and St. John the Baptist Chapel, which you will reach after a few minutes' walk at the end of the road, free of charge.
You can find beverages suitable to your taste such as tea, coffee, and fruit juice in the modest cafes in Kizilcukur. You can visit St. Theodoros Trion Church and St. Simeon's hermitage, located on the church, free of charge.
