Ayvalı – Mustafapaşa
Characteristics of the Route:
The route starts in Ayvali, one of the villages in Nevsehir that preserves its traditional structure, and offers the opportunity to see the geographical formations of Cappadocia from a different point, with its unique nature and formations. The route passes by Gomeda ruins, one of the mysteries of Nevsehir that attracts exploration enthusiasts, before entering Sinasos (the old name of Mustafapasa). After the cave structures and underground structures that only determined explorers can get in, the route ends in Sinasos, which brings the atmosphere of the Imperial-era Istanbul to the region with interesting details such as arches decorated like marble.

Notes to Travelers:
You can dine in the old mansion serving local dishes in Mustafapasa.
Since the old madrasa is used by the University of Cappadocia, it is possible to visit the school when appropriate.
There is an entry fee to Sts. Constantine and Helen Church located in the town square, the museum card is not valid.
The Monastery of St. Nicholas, which is respected by all the townspeople, is open to visitors.
There is an entry fee to Cappadocia Art and History Museum, a pioneer with its distinctive style that describes the Cappadocia culture with dolls, the museum card is not valid.
If you are hiking in early spring, you can see endemic plants of Cappadocia such as Alkanna cappadocica (Peri havacivaotu) and Thymus cappadocicus.
Make sure your water bottle is full and keep a spare bottle ready as you won't find water on the route.
