Aşıklı Höyük – Büyük Deller – Gülağaç
The Character of the Route:
Famous as the "prehistoric village that performed the first brain surgery", Aşıklı Höyük is the starting point of this mysterious route that attracts explorers. Starting from this magical point in the shadow of Hasandağı volcano, the route leads to Kızılkaya village, which is surrounded by greenery caused by the Melendiz River. In the meditative silence of the steppe, it follows the bumpy paths for a while, and after 7 km, it turns north. The route, which takes on a calm character after a short descent, ends in Gülağaç, right after visiting Büyük Deller Mound, which is understood to have been inhabited for the first time in the Chalcolithic Period in 5200 BC and then for the second time in the Hellenistic Period, approximately 5000 years later.
