The character of the route:

The route has a quiet course, ascends slightly with idyllic landscapes, and descends just before reaching Uzunkaya village. The route, which runs one of the most famous ruins of Cappadocia by making a sweet descent for the last 6 km, ends at the entrance of the Ihlara Valley, which hosts the Melendiz River.

Notes to Travelers:

• You can visit Selime Monastery and have a pleasant lunch break at tourist restaurants.
• You can stay in modest hotels in Selime.
• At the end of the tour, you can take a pleasant walk in the Ihlara Valley.
• Since you cannot replenish the water frequently, you should take extra water, especially on hot days.
