Ovaören - Tuzköy - Gülşehir
Characteristics of the Route:
This route, which activates the explorer in you, starts in the mysterious atmosphere of Ovaoren and Gokcetoprak, which have been inhabited continuously for thousands of years. These lands are so open to exploration that Prof.Dr.Yucel Senyurt, the excavation site director, has found hieroglyphic fragments from the Hittite period in a barn in Gokcetoprak. The route continues for a while in this atmosphere, passing through the beet fields and by a factory with huge salt tunnels. Passing by the natural rock salt, which is said to be good against the evil eye, the route ends in Karavezir Complex.

Notes to Travelers:
You can observe salt production in Tuzkoy.
If you are interested in history, can visit St.Jean Church in Gulsehir and the Aciksaray Archeological site located in the direction of Nevsehir, 4 km east of Gulsehir. There is an entry fee to St.Jean Church and the museum card is not valid. You can visit the Aciksaray Archeological Site free of charge.
In Gokcetoprak, you can visit Zeus, the first and only Hellenistic Period Relief known in the thousands of years of history of the Cappadocia region.
Keep your bicycle bottle and a spare water bottle full as you won't find water on the route.
At the end of the route, you can rest in Karavezir Seyit Mehmet Pasha of Gulsehir Complex.
