Ortahisar - Ürgüp

Notes to Travelers:

There is an entry fee to Ortahisar Castle, the museum card is not valid.

Make sure your bicycle bottle is full as you will have limited opportunities to find water on the route.

Characteristics of the Route:

The route is suitable for all cyclists and does not require much effort. It starts in front of Ortahisar Castle and descends towards Ishak Pasha Castle Panorama point, a great place for photography, and then continues to descend towards Urgup through a pleasant slope. Following the view of Nevsehir made of volcanic ash, the path meets with a lush dirt road around Urgup. The route goes among poplar and willow trees, crosses the asphalt road, and reaches the city center.
