Kömürcü - Kayırlı – Gösterli – Narlı göl
The character of the route:
The route, which explores these lands that have hosted different cultures for thousands of years, starts from the foothills of Göllüdağ, which is famous for its temple from the Tabal Kingdom. Climbing the first 3 km, the track continues to follow the history engraved on this surreal volcanic terrain. After the descent, it goes around the pond in Kayırlı village, advancing on an undulating path. Breathing the mystical air going back thousands of years, the route passing through the domes, following the route to the northwest, ends with the exquisite view of Narlı Göl, which has thermal springs.
Notes to Travelers:
• If you are interested in archeology, you can go to Göllüdağ, where the temple ruins of the Tabal Kingdom are located just above the Kömürcü village.
• You can visit the Kayırlı Sırçalıtepe Mound, located in the village of Kayırlı, right next to the pond, which shows that the settled life in the region dates back 9,300 years.
• In hot weather, you can cool off in the thermal waters of Narlı Göl.
• You should take enough water with you, especially on hot days.
