Kırıkkale – Balışeyh – Delice
The character of the Route:
This sportive route, most of which is climbing, starts from the charming industrial city of Kırıkkale, connecting 41 provinces. The track, which completes a tight 2 km climb just before reaching Balışeyh District, continues its monotonous climb on quiet roads surrounded by fields until it reaches the crossroads after 15 km. This route, where you can visit the tomb of Ballı Baba, one of the Anatolian saints, without leaving Balışeyh behind, ends in the Delice District, which has attractive local delicacies.
Notes to Travelers:
• You can benefit from many social facilities in Kırıkkale National Garden such as pond and water promenade areas, a walking and cycling path, a mini zoo, grass activity fields, picnic areas, a sports area, and a public coffee house.
• In Balışeyh, you can visit the tomb of the saint Ballı Baba, known as a lodge poet.
• You can taste the delicious white grapes, also called Delice White, and Delice melon, and drink Delice must, which is a source of energy and known to be beneficial to human health.
• You can buy the famous Delice salt, which meets the World Health Organization criteria and is rich in minerals.
• You can try Delice's famous bazlama kebab.
