Characteristics of the Route:
The route starts from Haci Bektas Veli Tomb and Museum in Nevsehir, which has been a venue for the saints, passes through the district streets, and follows dirt roads. Although the bumpy paths are difficult from time to time, the descents after slopes offer the opportunity to rest. The route with a unique atmosphere passes through Kutukcu and Yenice villages and goes towards Hirka Mountain, the hermitage of Haci Bektas Veli.
The legend says that Haci Bektas Veli had a great fire lit on the top of this mountain, burned his cardigan in this fire, and scattered its ashes to the foot of the mountain where many trees grew. The route follows the slopes of the Hirka Mountain and passes among the trees mentioned in the legend, descends after a while on a smooth ramp through the fields. It passes by Yeniyaylacik, a village where incredible fossils dating back millions of years were discovered during the construction of a residence, and ends in Gulsehir with a green view.
