Characteristics of the Route:
The route starts in Gulsehir district near Kizilirmak, follows a wavy track in the atmosphere softened by the river, and reaches Avanos, where the clay of the river is shaped with thousands of years of history in a meditative atmosphere. Even the ancient historian Herodotus mentioned that the famous scientist Thales showed the Lydian King Cresus how to cross Kizilrmak to stop the Persian attacks. (575-546 BC) The route crosses the river in Avanos and goes towards Goreme with iconic fairy chimneys of Nevsehir. A surreal landscape surrounds you as you gently ascend on a smooth ramp.
