In Uchisar, you can visit Uchisar Castle, which was used as a castle during the Roman Period as the largest fairy chimney in Nevsehir. * There is an entry fee to the castle and the museum card is not valid.
You can try one of the restaurants with different styles in Cavusin.
You can visit the Seljuk Mosque in Cavusin Town, the charming "historical house" on the cobblestone road that goes up by the mosque, and St. John the Baptist Chapel (Aziz Yahya Kilisesi), which you will reach after a few minutes' walk at the end of the road. You can have pleasant moments on the plateau above St. John the Baptist Chapel, which offers wonderful photos with its impressive view.
You can find beverages suitable to your taste such as tea, coffee, and fruit juice in the modest cafe you will see in Love valley.
You can use the water, toilet, shower, and kitchen facilities in campsites, which also have a modest swimming pool. If you have the opportunity and time, you can leave your belongings at the campsite before you leave.
Characteristics of the Route:
Going up to the majestic Uchisar, the actor of unforgettable moments, the route starts to descend on a smooth ramp when it reaches the famous Akvadi. Through the open land and on a comfortable dirt road, the route continues down and takes a break in Cavusin, an old Christian settlement that hosted Pasolini's famous movie Medea in 1969. After this enjoyable break, the route slowly ascends on the photogenic paths of the Kiliclar Valley and ends in Goreme, which is on UNESCO World Heritage List.
