Notes to Travelers:
If you start cycling at sunrise, you can ride with hot air balloons above you.
There is no entry fee to the churches on the route.
Keep your bicycle bottle and a spare water bottle full as you won't find water on the route.
You can use toilet facilities and cafes at the campsite in the valley.
Characteristics of the Route:
This enjoyable route includes technical tracks stretching from the valley ridges of Nevsehir that resemble the surface of the moon to the valleys with tunnels-caves, from the paths lost in the red scenery to iconic fairy chimneys. Starting from Goreme, the route descends into the valley adorned with tunnels and caves with a magnificent view in Gorkundere and passes through Kiliclar Valley with the panoramic view of Bozdag from Meskendir Ridge. After crossing the relaxing paths in the Meskendir Valley, the path passes by mysterious churches. The last part of the route visits the Column Church, the most spectacular church of Cappadocia, which continues in Gulludere and ends at the camping area in the valley.
