Çiftlik – Kula – Mahmutlu – Kitreli – Ihlara

The character of the route:

The route, which explores the volcanic terrain with its lively character, starts from Çiftlik village, located east of Hasan Mountain volcano. It ascends towards Mahmutlu village, passes through the north of the conical hill (Dom*), and descends. The track, whose wavy structure never changes, ends by gliding through the fields and reaching the Ihlara Valley, shaped by the Melendiz River.

Notes to Travelers:

• If curious, you can visit Tepecik- Çiftlik Mound in Çiftlik village.

• You can visit the tombs of Sheikh Bahattin and Muhlis in Şeyhler village.

• You can take pleasant photos and even cool off in the pool at the Kitreli Pond, which is thought to have a historical past, by going 2 km south of the village of Kitre.

• You can eat delicious meals at the restaurants in Ihlara village and relax in the village coffee.

• You can take a pleasant walk in the Ihlara Valley at the end of the tour.

• Since you cannot replenish the water frequently, you should take extra water, especially on hot days.
