Çiftlik- Kitreli – Ilısu – Güzelyurt

The character of the route:

The route, which visits the villages with idyllic landscapes, starts from Çiftlik village, built on plain land. The track, which reaches its highest point at 8.5 km, passes through the north of the dom (*) opposite and reaches Mahmutlu and Kitreli Villages. The route, which has a sporty flow, proceeds on undulating paths and ends in Güzelyurt.

Notes to Travelers:

If you are curious, you can visit the Tepecik- Çiftlik Mound in Çiftlik village.

You can visit the tombs of Sheikh Bahattin and Muhlis in Şeyhler village.

You can take pleasant photos and even cool off in the pool at the Kitreli Pond, which is thought to have a historical past, by going 2 km south of the village of Kitre.

You can eat delicious local dishes at the restaurants in the Güzelyurt district and relax in the village coffee.

If you want to take a short walk, visit Manastır Valley in Güzelyurt.

You need to buy a ticket to visit the High Church at the entrance of Güzelyurt.

(*) Dom is the name given to the dome-like structures formed on the earth. Dom is very important in terms of earth science. There must be a large springing in the earth's crust for these structures to form.
