Avanos - Sarıhıdır - Bozca

In Avanos, famous for its ceramic workshops near Kizilirmak, you can sit beside the potter's wheel and shape the clay of the river.

Keep a spare bottle ready as you won't find water on the route.

You can find beverages such as tea and coffee in the coffee house of Sarihidir.  

Characteristics of the Route:

The route starts in Avanos, mentioned as one of the three richest and most developed cities of the region in the book written by the ancient geographer Strabo, passes through the art workshops that process this culture on ceramics, and meets the river. Without leaving the riverside, the route passes by greenhouses full of vegetable seedlings and reaches Sarihidir. The route takes a straight path for a while and ends in the nostalgic village of Bozca near Bayramhaci Dam after a short ascent right after leaving the riverside.

The route follows Kizilirmak and reaches the dam through comfortable trails and is suitable for mountain bikers who do not prefer technical ascents and descents.
